Starting July 1, 2024, East Ridge Review will accept chapbook submissions of short-form poetry (under 20 lines) between 15 and 25 pages. Title and acknowledgements pages do not count towards this total.
Manuscripts can include previously published individual pieces, but complete projects that have been previously published, including self-published ones, will not be accepted.
We appreciate poetry about nature, familial relationships, feelings, and introspection. We are not interested in works featuring violence, hatred, excessive swearing, or pornography.
Submissions open on July 1, 2024, and close on July 30, 2024. At least one chapbook will be selected for publication, perhaps a few!
Please send your submission as a single .doc or .docx file to eastridgereview@outlook.com. Only one submission per person at a time. To expedite the process, include “Chapbook Submission” in the email subject line.
Remember to include a bio in your email submission.
We take pride in design and quality. See our recent anthology Twenty-Four: Short-Form Poetry to get an idea of what you can expect.
Each selected chapbook will have an initial print run of 75 copies, with the author receiving 25 copies as compensation.
